The Covid Isolation Centers

Kathmandy Valley (May 13 – June 23, 2021) In collaborative efforts, Aarambha Foundation medically supported the 40-bed isolation center at Jain Mandir, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu and 26-bed isolation center at Aksheswor Mandir, Pulchowk, Lalitpur under Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) COVID Operation Relief Campaign.

These isolation facilities mainly aimed at those patients who had mild cases and were in need of isolation but did not have resources to isolate themselves at home and were not financially able to stay at a paid isolation center. Everything in our centers were free of cost. Those facilities had 2 full time nurses to help the patients with medication, yoga, games, and monitoring. Regular rounds were conducted by doctors from Aarambha and it was made sure that all the concerns and needs of the patients were heard and addressed.

Running for 41 days in total, 55 patients were treated and average stay of a patient in the center be 12 days.
